Introduction

Where do mortals go when they die?

Most of the time, when mortals pass, they find themselves in the afterlife, a blank expanse created by Kamatayan. She allows denizens of her realm to shape their space as they please.

Do heaven and hell exist?

Sagrado's religion hammered in the ideas of a heaven and hell, so much so it is integrated into contemporary vernacular. More devout followers know that, to get into this heaven, one must accept Sagrado(? Pamaragul?) as the one true God. Over time, this criterion has branched out to doing "good" deeds while alive. Meanwhile, the criteria to end up in hell is larger. Because of her actions, Sagrado's religion has heavy emphasis on damnation for the the innately talented and magically enchanted, the latter receiving much more discrimination as time passed on.

In actuality, there is no stereotypical pearly gates or fiery pits. There have been cases where mortals create this heaven/hell for themselves. Heaven/Hell is what mortals make of it.
