There are nine deities. Each group is split in two: the Original Five responsible for Hangarin's creation, and the Time Quartet, who all spawned as a result of magic runoff from Aldo and Bulan's spats.

Bestowed by the gods to improve survivability. Mortals can receive new gifts, usually from the gods themselves. It comes at a cost; usually these mortals do not survive for long.
